OUR VALUES
We buy logs only from proven Czech suppliers from Beskydy forests, thus supporting the Czech timber industry. We process the logs ourselves, which allows us to use the best quality lumber. We dry it naturally, and it is this step that enables us to keep our prices competitive. Wood is cheaper than metal, and it is also a natural material that is pleasant to the touch and each chair is original thanks to its texture.
We believe in the quality and craftsmanship of handmade work, so every part of the chair passes through our hands and can be inspected and free from defects. Also the details are the result of honest handwork. All structural joints are carved, glued and assembled by hand. After many years of experience, we have completely abandoned joining with wooden pins and replaced them with screws. The most stressed parts, such as the chair legs, are joined with 6 mm diameter screws, making our products extremely durable, strong and ensuring their durability for decades.
The upholstery is made in the same spirit as the entire wooden structure of the chair, or “honest handmade”. We use so-called cold foam with a thickness of 6 cm for the seat and 3 cm for the backrest with a density of 55 kg/m3. And the density of the PUR foam is its key characteristic, which means that the seat will not rust, but will last for decades. Since we produce customized seating furniture, there is no limitation for the customer in terms of colour or type of fabric, you can choose any fabric that is available on the market, we will of course advise you on its suitability.
